Originally from New Jersey, I received my education and training there. I have lived and worked in CT for the past 13 years. I bring 31 years of clinical work experience working in periodontal and general practices. I have a strong focus in periodontal therapies.
I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of New Haven. I stayed on as a hygiene clinical instructor while working part-time in a general practice. I stay current in my field by attending continuing education courses. I am married with three children whom keep me busy. I am involved in their school activities and am even my eldest daughter’s Brownie Leader. When I have time for myself, I enjoy watching football, reading and walking/running.
Bio Coming Soon
I began my dental career as a dental assistant in 1998. After a few years as a dental assistant I decided I wanted to work more one-on-one with my patients so I pursued training as a dental hygienist. I graduated in 2004 from the University of New Haven with an Associates degree in Dental Hygiene. I have worked at Coastal Connecticut Dentistry for the last 8 years and I love changing lives one mouth at a time! I reside locally with my husband and young daughter.
I have just celebrated my 19th year at Coastal Connecticut Dentistry and have developed many lasting relationships with patients and co-workers while on board with the team. I am originally from Rhode Island and received my degree from Bristol Community College. I have also received my certificate for delivering local anesthesia. I have worked in periodontal offices and greatly enjoy doing periodontal therapies. I am very enthusiastic about my profession and love to share this enthusiasm. My husband and I front a local band “Fusion”. I am also very involved in several boards and foundations (ASF-Angelman Syndrome Foundatio, FAST- Foundation for Angelman Syndrome Therapeutics and Save the River, Save the Hills.) I have recently started writing a blog for the Waterford Patch online publication. I live locally and have a son and two daughters.
